Admin Recovery LLC is a debt buyer based in Valhalla, New York. They are a 4 on the 10 point scale of debt collector shadiness. They may not give you their business address or send you anything in writing, even upon demand. But they do exist and they do report their accounts to the major credit reporting agencies. That was how I found them and verified their address. They do have a website: www.adminrecovery.com.
Admin Recovery’s correspondence address is
Admin Recovery
45 Earhart Dr, Ste 102
Williamsville, NY 14221
If Admin Recovery is calling you, it may be about an old Rooms-to-Go furniture bill. They may try to convince you to sign a reaffirmation agreement if you file bankruptcy, but I have never seen them provide proof of a valid security interest in any furniture. I have sued Admin Recovery LLC. If they are bothering you, give me a call.

My name is Renee. I had an account with Admin Recovery and it has now been transferred to PNB Capitol Group. My situation: PNB has no record of my past payments to Admin Recovery. I began making payments to Admin Recovery in 2012 with the last payment February 2014. I have nothing in writing showing how much I paid or what is owed. I’m at a loss and do not know where to turn.
Chuck Davis says
Over the past few days I have received four calls from a Mr. Kahn at Admin Recovery (phone 866-703-7961). Today, I finally spoke to him regarding a claim #469318 of which I am absolutely in the dark. If it is about a Rooms-to-Go furniture bill, as you mentioned on your website, then I have to say that I have never heard of Rooms-to-Go until this morning. I have NEVER dealt with Admin Recovery in the past.
I had a rather terse argument with this Mr. Kahn as he would not tell me what the call was in reference to until I confirmed my street address and last four numbers of my SSN, which I refused to do. Too many scams out there for this sensitive information. I live in Colorado and I suspect that they are searching for the correct Charles Davis (a very common name) and seem to be willing to prey upon anyone who answers the phone. I see no reason to initiate a law suit. What else can I do?
Attorney Judson E Crump says
Chuck,
I do not practice law in Colorado, so I cannot give you legal advice. You can write a letter asking for proof of the alleged debt, but if they keep pestering you, there isn’t much else you can do without a lawyer. I’d recommend that you contact a consumer protection lawyer in your area. To find one, go to http://www.consumeradvocates.org.
